What is your return policy?

 

Due to our pricing structure, there are NO REFUNDS. Exchanges may be made within ten days of purchase. If it's within three months of purchase, in-store credit is given.

 

Consignment and Estate sales are FINAL.

 

Special and custom orders require a nonrefundable fifty percent deposit.

 

 

Do you offer an appraisal service?

 

We do verbal and written appraisals for insurance purposes.

 

 

Do you offer a custom-design service?

 

We can provide you with detailed advice on material and design; draw up the initial drafts, carve up a wax and incorporate your ideas. We can also redesign pieces of jewelry and string pearls.

 

 

How can I have my jewelry engraved?

 

We engrave any item of jewelry, as long as the material is engraveable. Just bring in your piece, tell us what you want engraved on the piece, and we'll engrave it for you.

 

 

What payment plan options do you offer?

 

VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, Debit, Cash, Layaway.

 

 

Do you accept Layaway Payments?

 

Layaway plans are for a three month period, with nonrefundable deposits/payments. If you no longer want the item, payments can be applied to different in-store merchandise.

 

 

Do you offer any warranties on your merchandise?

 

If your item needs to be repaired again, within 60 days of us repairing it, we will repair it at no cost.

 

When we perform a complete overhaul on your watch, the watch is covered by a twelve month warranty. The warranty does not include damaged caused by impact of the watch, such as banging or dropping the watch. The warranty does not cover moisture intrusion caused by leaving the crown unscrewed or from a broken crystal. The crystal, band, bezel or case are not covered by the warranty.

 

 

What is your privacy policy?

 

We collect general information about you on repair slips and when you sell to us, so we can either remain in contact with you as we work on your piece or keep records. Whatever information you give us (name, address, phone number, etc.), whether in-store or online, remains in our records and isn't shared with anyone. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to other companies or individuals. We guarantee your privacy.

 

 

Do you sell a product care line?

 

Yes, specifically for silver, gold, pearls, and gemstones.

 

 

If requested, can I have my merhandise gift wrapped at the store?

 

Yes. We offer complimentary gift wrapping.

Are you an Authorized Seiko Dealer?

 

Yes, we are. For 25 years we have been an Authorized Seiko Sales and Service.

 

 

Could you alter my Seiko with Nongenuine Parts? And do you warranty the service?

 

It is very popular nowadays to alter your Seiko with after-market/nongenuine parts in order to alter the appearance or pay homage to other brand looks. I am able to alter your Seiko watch with your parts provided at your request. Includes dials, hands, crystals, crowns, or casebacks. We warranty partial repairs for internal parts only. But we do not warranty any case parts, such as crystals, crowns, bezels, or casebacks, that are replaced because we do not water test these watches. In this case, we take the same stand that the factory does. We will recommend new gaskets if needed.

Are you a Service Center? Do you do Company Warranty work?

 

We are not an authorized service center for any names, brands, or trademarks, nor do we have any desire to be. ALL names, brands, and trademarks are the sole property of their respective owners. So we will not do company warranty repairs. We only honor the warranty’s we provide ourselves. We are an independent watch repair service center. We have been serving the community since 1975, our happy customers and our quality work are why we have a great reputation. We do not wish to take a chance with our reputation by affiliating ourselves with any one watch brand or manufacturer.

 

Warranty work should follow the guidelines that the company provides you in the booklet that comes with your watch or on their official website.

 

 

Do you use Genuine Rolex Parts when you repair my watch?


We use only Genuine Rolex Parts when we repair your watch. The only exception would be with a very old or vintage watch where genuine parts are no longer available. In this case we may use parts from other manufacturers that are compatible with the specific movement or even make a new part. This also applies to other brands.

 

 

How often should I have my watch serviced?


As with any piece of mechanical equipment, such as your car, your watch requires normal maintenance and lubrication. Rolex recommends having your watch serviced and lubricated every three to five years, depending on your personal wearing conditions. This also applies to other brands.

 

 

My watch got wet on the inside, what should I do?

 

It is very important to immediately open the crown and ship us the watch overnight or bring it in right away if your local. If it’s just moisture, you have more time but it should always be serviced, because dried residue will eventually turn to rust and degrade the oils inside and eventually rust the movement. If the problem was water it should be worked on as soon as possible because the watch will start to rust in a day or two. We do emergency service and stop the repairs we have on hand to minimize the replacement of parts that the watch will need to get it back to be 100% again.

 

 

Should I wait for my watch to stop working before I get it serviced?

 

No, regular maintenance of your Swiss watch is important to insure the mechanism/ movement performs within factory specifications. Problems become larger and costly if you just wait for them to happen.

 

 

Are you a Rolex Factory Service Center?


No, we are not a Rolex Service Center. Many people claim that they are a Service Center for Rolex. But no independent jeweler or watch repair store is a Service Center. If you need to contact or send your watch in for service because it is under warranty or for any other reason. The Official United States Rolex Centers are:

How long does it take to get my watch serviced?


Our normal turnaround time for servicing your watch is approximately ten to fourteen working days. If parts are not in stock, as with some very old watches, then it may take slightly longer.

 

 

After my watch is serviced, how accurate will it be?


The normal time keeping accuracy of any mechanical watch is between 0-10 seconds fast in a twenty-four hour period. Keep in mind that exposing the watch to certain extremes, such as temperature or magnetism, may cause the watch to perform above normal limits.

 

 

What type of warranty do you offer on repairs?

Bentley's is an independent watch repair company. We are not authorized, affiliated or endorsed by the Rolex Watch Company. We have Spare Parts account with material houses that sell Rolex parts and have stock that we purchased from Rolex Watch Company.

 

 

How long has your company been working on Rolex Watches?


We have been in the watch repair industry for over 50 years. We have worked on Rolex Watches for the past 40 years.

 

 

The dial on my watch is faded and damaged, what can be done?

 

One of two things can be done. If a replacement is available or is in your budget, we can change the dial out. If your dial is a rare item or you just want to keep it original to your watch the dial can be refinished to look brand new.

 

 

Do you sell bands, dials, cases for Rolex Watches?


We do not sell any parts for Rolex watches. The parts that we have are only used in the watches we repair and are not available for individual sale. If you need a new band, dials, cases for your watch, we suggest you contact an Authorized Rolex Jeweler in your area.

 

 

Do you replace watch batteries?

 

Absolutely! We replace watch batteries in water resistant and non-water resistant watches.

 

 

My watch has a plastic crystal, can it be changed to a sapphire crystal?

 

If the watch originally came with a plastic crystal, you cannot or should not install a sapphire crystal because it will degrade its water resistance.

 

 

I have a Rolex look-a-like (Fake), can you fix it?


We do not repair any counterfeit or replica watches. Please do not send them to us.
